About a month ago my brain surgeon who performed surgery for an aneurysm did and IR carotid artery arteriogram. It showed that the right carotid artery was 78% blocked due to stenosis. And also showed that the left carotid artery is blocked due to stenosis at 50%. I need to know whether I should change doctors or go to a cardiac thoracic surgeon to have the blockage fixed. Please help! I'm having lots of terrible symptoms. In addition the surgeons area that he opened my skull on are growing further apart and there is a bulge on my forehead that has occurred. I left a message for the surgeon that did my brain surgery and how concerned I am about this but have not heard back from his office. What should I do?
