@kpickowitz … you have a symptom that should be evaluated. I have generalized myasthenia gravis and difficulty in swallowing can be a symptom. While it’s a somewhat rare autoimmune disease and there are various different types it is difficult to diagnose. I am seronegative x3 which means the routine lab results do not identify my disease, it took several years to diagnose me before I got treatment. Just thought I would throw that in to the discussion. Your PCP would probably be the place to start because swallowing problems can come from different sources. Doesn’t sound like much fun . Good luck!
