Husband has GBM cancer and is now 15 months post diagnosis. He had immediate surgery, 6 weeks of radiation and chemo pills, then major chemotherapy, and is now doing targeted therapy treatments every other week. So far so good. The targeted therapy has helped the cancer and his MRIs are so far showing no cancer in the tumor bed.

Wondering if anyone else is suffering from Glioblastoma and what treatments they’re doing?

@rened Thank you for sharing. My husband has the same type, grade 4. He had the majority of the tumor 90% removed on July 23rd. So just the beginning of the long journey. We see oncology on Monday but it sounds like he will be having 6 weeks of radiation and chemo pills just as you did. He has speech therapy, OC, and PT for now and that is going well. I'm glad to hear his MRIs are showing no tumors.

@rened I wish I could say what’s helping my brother-he has the worst of the worst gbm …had his post op MRI at Mayo in Scottsdale…I’m dreading the diagnosis. I’m sure if it were positive I would have had a better honest call. He is very stoic…
