Our bodies are very sensitive as the years go by to any change done by meds. What I’ve done in the past years (I’m 78) is as my meds stopped working i quickly change through my doctor to a different med. Sometimes they last years and others need to be changed in one year. You have to give meds a chance to work before changing but sometimes the effects are so strong you must change. If you have other family members that are on meds the same or close reason you are on them you should try those meds. I have a sister and older brother that take propranolol so I have been on propranolol for years. It works for me but at different levels . I started at 80mg and now I’m at 10mg. Bodies change and you must listen to your body. Good luck.
