We so appreciate everyone’s comments. The information and sharing of experiences has been most helpful. Thank you so much. We gained in education and have a better idea of the questions to ask. The information offered at our initial consultations seem to be just the beginning of a vast book of knowledge that lies ahead.

My husband has the saline balloon BioProtect spacer. Although we were pretty naive regarding the subject of prostrate cancer we knew to do research on doctors and their experience level etc. The doctor who installed the spacer seemed to have an excellent following and supposedly one of the first to utilize it when FDA approved in the USA.

After seeing the MRI report we put a called into that doctor’s office and were referred to the treating radiologist to have our concern addressed. The treating radiologist told us that while it wasn’t ideal the treatment would proceed. She hadn’t as yet looked beyond the written report. We requested she call us back after doing so.

So here we are anxiously waiting to for that call but with a better knowledge base on which to formulate questions. THANKYOU everyone for your help. I will keep you updated.
