When getting a bone scan be sure to check which bones they review.
My hospital has a (stupid) "protocol" of only reviewing one humorous (upper arm) and one femur (upper leg).
That missed the osteoporosis in my spine. Five compression fractured thoracic vertebrae and their massive pain later I got those repaired through two surgeries.
