@catdoris, I’m glad you found our group. As you’ve read, there are many of us living full lives with lung cancer, even late stage lung cancer.
The PET scan will help to give a picture of how active the mass is, and if you get a biopsy, that will confirm the pathological make up. That biopsy will be most helpful in matching the mass to a treatment, whether it is infection, fungal, or cancer. Please let us know what the tests show. How are you doing?
