@wilweten I have severely degraded trebeculae and my endocrinologist basically told me there is no way to rebuild the structure once it is gone. Anabolics like Forteo or Tymolos can thicken the structure that remains, but improving my TBS is going to be especially difficult. Instead I was encouraged to focus on improving bone density because that would be an easier goal to achieve. Needless to say I felt very discouraged.

@soggybones I just found: https://www.patientcareonline.com/view/abolaparatide-increases-bone-microarchitecture-and-strength-in-women-with-osteoporosis

@gently already stated above that this would be the case with teriparatide (Forteo) and expected it to be the same with abaloparatide (Tymlos). So, yes, it looks like it does.

The article ends with: “Abaloparatide increased TBSth rapidly and progressively over 18 months and increments were maintained over 2 years with alendronate. TBSth increase was associated with vertebral fracture risk reduction, the investigators wrote. They concluded that “Microarchitectural improvement may be one mechanism by which abaloparatide strengthens vertebral bone.”
