@happytoseeyou It’s the Ativan that I am on long term for anxiety. Very rarely I had to take a third one while in the hospital but I never got any kind of sensation from it, just gentle relief from anxiety feelings. My wife used trazodone occasionally for sleep and felt drowsy in the morning so went to a half dose(2.5mg) and did better but she was not on Ativan. Explain to the NP your fear of side effects or dizziness so she can find something that fits your needs.
