@rockpir ....when you go from a low heart rate, that is consistently low, to a high sustained rate during exercise, that can strain the heart, resulting in a rapid increase in blood pressure. That circumstance, repeated over time, could possibly exacerbate the size an existing aneurysm or at least stess it unnecessarily.

@ctflyr Iguess that makes sense. I have a low resting heart rate ,40sto low 50s,Went lower when I went for medical procedure and anesthesiologist shouted in my ear that heart rate was 35. Takes longer to reach your max hr with low hr depending on the heart health.Was a marathoner and participated in many endurance and strength activities.
