I would like to know how this worked out for you. I am trying to come off of the same pill and I am having severe side effects, but I have been so sick on it that I must come off my right leg is swelling and it is very painful above the knee. It’s a half inch bigger than my left leg above the knee please if anyone has any advice I’m getting twins in the chest. I’m now 49 hours in between the pill trying to get to 54. The last time was 50 hours, but I start getting twinges in the chest. This has happened with the last three doses. I have been dosing down since last week stretching it as many hours as I can. I got to 68 hours once, but I didn’t realize I had gone that long. I had forgotten when I last took it then I looked back at everything and found it was 68 hours. I made it successfully to 68 hours but boy boy I must tell you it was not without a lot of discomfort. If I can wean off of this successfully, I will never go on another beta blocker for the rest of my life. I postponed my ablation because I don’t wanna stay on the beta blocker. Also, it’s asking me not to go to the gym so not to spike my adrenaline. I’m sitting on the elliptical and I’m going the slowest I possibly can just to keep some motion going. Please keep in mind. I am diabetic uncontrolled on no meds. I can usually get it down in the mid 100s but since I’m on this pill is mid to high 200 I must get off this pill. Please please please help me please. 💙🙏🦋

@snop I don't believe this can be attributed to a reduction in beta-blocker. This is something else. You need to consult a physician ASAP. Beta-blockers can be stopped inside of a week or two if done properly, and some are told to stop cold, although they are usually prescribed a substitute or an anti-arrhythmic drug like amiodarone instead, which sort of takes over the operation.

Note that I am not a physician and don't understand how diabetes might change things for you, especially if it's not being managed through insulin. But your swelling tells me that you need immediate help.
