I refused to rake 3 meds. I had MAC and have Bronchectisis. I went 12 months in Azithro and ethambutol. And was neg afor 10 of those months I just got tested again and still neg. Maybe try just the 2

@nanasue5 My doc gave me the go ahead to stop w/ the Rifampin in an effort to curb my irritability (for lack of a better word), and he cited some recent research that folks did just as well on the 2 (Ethambutol and Azithromycin) vs. the big 3 (including Rifampin).
