Northern New Mexico is beautiful, pine covered mountains and plains although it would be more beautiful right now with some rain. Normally July-August is a monsoon season when we get frequent rain, but this year it's just dry. Good luck and hugs for your surgery.

Sounds just lovely, ahhh I can picture those pine covered mountains! New York State is experiencing drought wide conditions. I’m in the Hudson Valley and despite having some rain, it’s just not enough. Hoping you get the much needed rain there too !
