@grandmira If the Flomax "side effects" you're referencing are retrograde ejaculation, when I asked my doctor for an alternative to Tamsulosin that was less likely to cause RE, he prescribed Uroxatral (Alfuzosin).
Yeah, it's still medication, but if you've just recently been diagnosed with BPH, you may never need surgery. Also, from what I've learned here, TURP doesn't seem to be state of the art.
