@agnes01 My husband has vascular dementia. It was explained to me that this type of dementia causes increasing difficulty with moving through Steps 1, 2, 3 to get to the desired end result at 4. I see this with him all the time now, he needs verbal and gestured cues to go through the steps to set himself up to shave, put on his shoes or jacket. It’s so weird how the catch-all diagnosis “dementia” includes so many types, that can look so different.
Your hubby may not be able to make sense of the step by step process in the video. I do like the plan of having your son come and sit with him, he’ll treasure those memories in the future.

@centre Thank you. We will see the geriatric neurologist next wek. I hope to get a few more answers.
