Sorry you had shingles. So painful! I broke out with shingles 2 weeks after my mastectomy. That was 13 years ago. 7 years later I went on Kisqali and Letrozole for 5 years (still on Letrozole) and I’ve never had another shingles outbreak. Stress can be a trigger.

I’m very careful about washing hands and staying away from sick people. I think I only caught a virus 3 times in the 5 years I took Kisqali. Best of luck to you.

@ginny100 hi Ginny, I also was on fulvestrant injections starting July 30th of this year and Ribociclib starting around August 30, 2026 after Letrozole stopped working after being on it for 18 months. I am 71 with stage 4 MBC. I have lost my appetite and when I saw my oncologist on 10/6 and she did bloodwork, including cancer blood markers, those markers had jumped significantly since last tested in June. She has stopped the Ribociclib (I was on 600 mg daily/ 3 weeks in, one week off) she was hoping my appetite would return and white count would go up, with the plan to resume Ribociclib at the lowest dose of 200 mg .
She has also ordered the Guardiant test again to see if the drugs are even any longer helpful. It is all rather depressing. Appetite still not returned. I did not suffer from diarrhea or constipation from those drugs, which I am grateful for. I hope you get your situation to where you can live with it (side effects, etc.)
