Supplements can be very dangerous to the liver, since everything that goes into the body is filtered through the liver. I would not take any supplements that were not specifically recommended by a doctor I trust.

thank you. i am not taking meds. i am just following the suggested diet. Will see what the doctor has to say and advise.

Forget the doctor I trust part. Being honest with myself, I just wouldn't do it.
