@daisydays I'll be honest. The post diagnosis "new normal" has been very difficult for me. Almost in the space of a month (the length of my stay in the hospital) I went from being a strong, active person who hiked and travelled to someone fighting the muscle weakness and fatigue of chemo (plus all the other stuff). I've had to reevaluate my interests and hobbies and my husband's retirement is definitely not what we envisioned. Everyone's cancer experience is different, and I hope that yours will allow you to continue cherished activities and you'll have a positive outcome.

Yes, that sounds difficult. It is an enormous loss, of your energy, your active lifestyle… of all that you have planned life would look like right now with your husband. I’m so very sorry you are experiencing this grief.
Thank you very much for your well wishes, I extremely grateful that I only needed surgery and no other treatment.
You are in my prayers and hopeful thoughts that all you are going through improves.
