Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect.
WOW! You went through A LOT. As if spinal fusion was not enough to go through, the sepsis really got to you!

There is also a recognized trauma from just being in ICU, called PICS (Post Intensive Care Syndrome) that is something else to help identify where some of your feelings are coming from.

What you have gone through is something that not everyone can identify with, so finding others who have is a blessing, because you are not alone. And just knowing that can help you so much.
How are you feeling now?
Are you taking good care of you?
Eating well, resting when tired?
Is your support person (newish boyfriend) still in the picture?
