Thanks for sharing your story. I’m still on the fence whether or not I’m going to have the surgery. I have a 90% tendon detachment but my hamstring is still attached. It’s not retracted. I am 3 1/2 weeks from the injury and I’m walking good I was just in the pool swimming laps, squatting doing heel raises and I feel good. Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday so I need to noodle on this this weekend and make my decision by Monday.

@jenwing503 what did you decide regarding the surgery? I have heard great things about going the nonsurgerical route for non detached hamstrings.
Surgery for mine and @tamb’s repairs were not optional.
