Unfortunately my mom who used to get UTIs, did not live with us. This was during COVID lockdown, so we couldn't be with her. The only times I could monitor her wiping was if we had to take her to the hospital. I bought ketchup/mustard squeeze bottles so she could at least squirt and rinse herself if wiping was too challenging.
Alas, we couldn't even monitor care staff to be with her to wipe properly, since we couldn't be there. Lockdown hit care facilities the hardest, and I know my Mom wasn't getting the best care (and sadly she'd progressed to the point we couldn't care for her).
Anyway, it is good info to repeat for everyone to hear.
