I had Stage 1a breast cancer in 2020 and I had a total hysterectomy in 2022. I have been on Anastrozole since 2020. Overall I have done fine on Anastrozole, however, I now have osteopenia which is a known side effect of AIs. So bone health can be an issue and I will likely end up with osteoporosis by the time I am off of them.

I’m have been on Anastrozole since 2023. It’s been hard but I am happy to read that you have made it through six years. It’s encouraging.

I have osteoporosis and am struggling with Fosamax. Do you take something to prevent osteoporosis? I was going to check with my doctor about trying a different medication or approach to treating the osteoporosis.

I had breast cancer 2021, Chemo, Radiation. On Anastrozole since 2023, joint pain, hot flashes. Had a total hysterectomy in March 2026, so even less estrogen. Oncologist put me on Veozah, just slightly helps hot flashes, I'm always looking for help.
