I wondered what happened to your bone markers? They want to give me Tymlos after Prolia as well and another friend said no you have to do Reclast first. 😐

You may find this video useful. Dr. B Leder from Mass General talked about sequences and combination of osteoporosis drugs, and discussed results for the sequence of denosumab (Prolia) to teriparatide (Forteo) from DATA Switch trial.

Tymlos is also a PTH analog, similar to Forteo, so most likely the outcome would be similar, if used after stopping Prolia.

How many doses of Prolia did you have? You might want to consider a second opinion.

Who are "they". Do you have an endocrinologist who is working with you on your osteoporosis treatment plan or another type of physician who is experienced and trained in the treatment of osteoporosis?
It is my understanding that the point of a follow-up drug after Prolia is to avoid the Prolia rebound so that the quickly maturing osteoclasts do not decrease bone. How are you researching this so that you can be an effective advocate for yourself?

Here is another resource as you continue researching.
