@wisewoman10 I understand completely. I had IBS for years. Stress of traveling and worry will overtake you. It's not only embarrassing but, exhausting!
My last surgery was 2 years ago, and it was supposed to be robotic (resection due to Diverticulitis) and the ended up cutting me bellybutton down! I was so afraid of the adhesions. But, that was on my left side.
When I told my surgeon for this surgery, he said that he did not see an issue where he would have to open. I was so happy to look down and see no long cut, and it was just the openings for air and removal. LOL I actually was happy.
He said that I had no adhesions.
