@degarden_girl Thanks so much for the information. Yes, I am seeing a functional physical therapist and we are working on strengthening the neck muscles. I have exercises to do for my neck to help strengthen the neck muscles.

@lkcarroll yes, what degardengirl said. when you get older your muscles get weak. When you hold your head in perfect posture position no pain. Otherwise, there can be a ton of pain. Try also an MFR therapist. They can really move your head to sit properly on your neck bones. You should have had an mri and xray at the Orthopedic surgeon to make sure there is no growths, arthritis, degeneration, etc.

@lkcarroll I wish you good luck with strengthening those muscles. Mine got weak as I pitched my head forward to work on a computer or read the newspaper as it sat on the counter. Or maybe I pitched it forward because the muscles were already weak.
