@westwoman3698 Ditto! I couldn't care less about fancy frames. I just want to read again, squinting, adjusting the light, trying a different chair, etc., etc., etc. Good luck to you in getting some reading glasses that really help! –Ray (@ray666)

Oh, yeah! I'm right there with you and @westwoman3698. My optometrist (of many years) was not comfortable prescribing new glasses for me this year, sending me to an ophthalmologist for a second opinion. He wrote the prescription, which I took back to my optometrist's office to have made with very plain (but quality) frames, and voila, I'm reading again! Had prescription readers made from my 2025 appointment but they were all but useless. Oh, this is so nice, now! I know I have "difficult" eyes, having needed visual therapy some 50 years ago. Prisms have gotten much stronger over the years but golly, I sure am glad to be able to read again with no "second pair" (readers) needed!
