I too admire your Connect dedication. You've been helpful to me on other issues, thank you for that.
So, you're into deserts too. I think I got my sugar gene from my grandmother.
One day I was visiting her and she said to me "you have to take me to the store today. I'm out of all five major food groups. Candy, cookies cakes, pies & pastry." I admire your restraint on the brownies. I appreciate getting to know you a little better.

Interesting you should mention your grandmother and sugar. My grandmother owned and ran a motel Near Stanford University. She would have a dinner party for around 12 every night. Many of the units had kitchens in them and people stayed for long periods of time and became friends. She was always cooking and had two large cabinets full of cookies. At least a dozen different types, each in a different tin. My parents would come see her and she’d give us a whole bunch of different cookies.
She also made jams and multiple different types of jarred foods. She had a big closet full of them. We would get jam from her Pretty regularly. I stayed with her one summer and watched her cook a huge Pot with strawberries to make strawberry jam. She must’ve filled 12 jars.
Definitely gave me a sweet tooth.
