@tomrennie Yes, I live in Flagstaff. How about you? I was given a choice to change from Stucky to Wasnif and get an earlier appt & that the one I have an appt with will be my surgeon. I'm trying to see if one would be better for my small bowel NET which we don't yet know if or where it has spread to. Do you have any insight?

@taly I split time between Mesa and Payson. I do not know either surgeon. I have a PNET that spread primarily to my liver. Surgery isn't an option for me. I have a Net Specialist Oncologist. If they are both recommended for you, I would read their profiles on the Mayo Clinic website. See if you have a preference for one or the other. Here is a link to both of them:

Your dotatate scan will provide information necessary to determine your best options moving forward. So, you just found out about your NET a few weeks ago? How are you handling it so far?
