I was also just diagnosed with intestinal metaplasia. Only found it because GI did an upper endoscopy to attach a BRAVO test capsule to find out how much excess bile I had. No bile, but found the other. I’m also being treated for SIBO. I don’t know if they’re connected. GI didn’t say much. I have an appointment in Sept with a new GI. I hope you find a good management plan. I know it’s pre-cancerous, but it doesn’t have to be
