@dmr4ever I’ve had breast cancer. ER+ & PR+. 7 yrs since surgery. I too AIs for 2 1/2 yrs and stopped due to side effects. Is taking progesterone, for some issues I’m having, feeding any wandering estrogen in my body? Your comment has me wondering about the progesterone. Thank you.

If your oncologist approves of your progesterone supplementation it’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions. My background is in medical research publishing. I can read and comprehend studies but I am by no means qualified to advise on anything other than how to find legitimate sources.

A quick search resulted in this NIH article:
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10842046/
If you search for information Elsevier’s Science Direct and NIH are legitimate sources. I worked for Elsevier. They have stringent research standards. Look for peer reviewed studies.

Keep in mind that your diagnosis and prognosis, the fact that you’re past the five year mark and other factors are what matters. Always consult your physician.
