@bdiver1verizon, I talk a lot too. I'm a Professor, PhD engineering & minerals and energy economics, post-grads only, so talking is necessary. I'm just at a loss as to why my voice has gone awry, when I'm certainly not straining anything during recovery?
Anyway, yes, for your connection to H.Rod, I'd surmise a vascular surgeon is also necessary.
Somewhat fortuitious is that I was/am very healthy (193cm (6'4"), 102kgs (225 lbs)) and have been sports-active all my life. In fact, it's high-impact sports that pushed me into the surgery, and hopefully with life-style changes, I'll avoid further surgery (L4L5 and L3L4 are both bone-on-bone with their respective discs obliterated - but no nerve impingement).
