My first device which was a Saint Jude was burned out during my right hip surgery since I did not have it in a surgical mode.I had a second one put in 2 years ago and it really doesn’t take away all the pain.When your desperate you seem to try anything.

@amventim1 I know exactly what you mean. A few years ago I had a lot of lower back and buttock pain from a fall. I got decent relief from a cocktail of drugs prescribed by my neurologist. I got greedy and wanted more. So, I went to an orthopedic surgeon who ordered another MRI (third one) He told me I had spondylolisthesis. I got fused at L5-S1. It id nothing. I heard the now infamous words. "Failed back surgery syndrome". Wish I could go back and NOT get that surgery done. How are doing these days overall? I hope you have found something that helps.
