Yes, I'll try. I've found I do have an appetite for soups. Also, I've experienced some stool incontinence at night, and urgency. I'm having to wear Depends since surgery. I asked my surgeon about this and he said he didn't do anything down below, only reattached my colon. Have you experienced anything like that?

@bdarling82 I am surprised the Dr would say such a thing. Everything is connected. Your rectum was inactive for a long time and it has to relearn a normal habit. The signals you feel when you need to go now are different. It may only start out as a tiny urge, more like gas. My urge eventually has gotten stronger, but nothing like it was before surgery. Some incontinence in the beginning is not all that unusual.
