I was on Forteo ands been having difficulties so they said Fosamax. They kept pushing recast or Prolia. But I have some health issues that I can’t take a lot, including thyroid, kidney stones, and then autoimmune. I’ve been thinking about going natural cause I’m sick and tired of it. I was on the forte and it takes two years to get a good bone building. It only takes a couple months to have it all taken away like what’s in this stuff I wonder sometimes if it’s even worth it or not, and when you do your calcium, I know I’m supposed to take K2 and D3’s at the same time because the D3 and the K2’s they push into the bones but I’m wondering I’m like almost 65 like what is it? Is it worth it like really I mean Enivity causes heart problems and blood clots. Or even strokes the rest are jaw necrosis or kidney stones it’s like you do or you don’t. And mt rheumatologist so nasty and angry with me because I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to protect myself. It’s my life not hers and it’s my life that has to deal with the pain in the suffering not her cause she keeps pushing and then telling me that I can find another doctor, I can find another doctor. That’s all she keeps saying. I’m at the point where I just might find another Dr women have gone many years without all this crap but I really wonder what’s in this stuff cause if you can build a bone it takes that long to build it and it takes such a short time to tear it down why I just don’t get it. I just don’t. I’m just like you I don’t get it. The side effects are so unbearable. the pain is unbearable the back pain, the leg pain, the muscle pain. Everything is frustrating. I don’t know. I don’t know what to do either.

@vmcgrantham
FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!

@vmcgrantham find another Dr. That is willing to check for underlying conditions. Can you start HRT? Have you or can you start strength training and exercise. Those are key as well as balance and impact training. If you haven't looked into a trainer I would definitely do that. I started with brickhouse bones founded by Dr Lisa Moore on line. She is wonderful I highly suggest you look up her exercises on YouTube

@vmcgrantham I am so sorry you are going through all of this 😢. It’s really frustrating. So many women have osteoporosis you would think they would have a true fix! my friend buys plant based vitamin D3 with K2 from New Chapter, called Bone Strengthening Calcium. She also takes Strontium for bone health. I haven’t looked into that yet. I hope this helps alittle. I go to doctors tomorrow so I will be discussing natural choices with her. I’m sure she will be pushing the pharmaceuticals. I’ll reply with info after I go. I’ll be praying for you!
