I also have multiple autoimmune problems post COVID vaccine done in 2021. I also had a reaction 5 min post injection - high blood pressure >200 and malaise. They took me to ER - it got resolved in 4 hrs. But 1 year later I developed Raynaud, systemic sclerosis, and inflammatory arthritis. Multiple unexplained food and drug allergies.

Please share you experience in a greater detail. What is your current diagnosis? Did you test positive for ANA and SCL-70 tests?

@admeliora, I'm so sorry you are suffering. And you are right the research isn't reflecting the connections. Even the last big study out of Korea does not indicate that many of the conditions suffered by people who actually had Covid 19 are being experienced by those who had the vaccine.
I consider that most of our medications are not adequately researched before the rush to market. But this rush to market wasn't profit driven. It was a pandemic that killed seven million people. Most of us made the choice not to risk dying after weeks or months of abject misery.
It is known in medical science that our bodies are manipulating the immune system with an inactive virus in the same ways that the active virus activates the immune system.
I had the vaccine the day it became available to me and have had every boost since. I'm grateful that Moderna began studying the vaccine early, before it became evident exactly how miserably deadly the covid vaccine would become.
It's hard to know if you are better off with the side effects; you may never have contracted Covid. My neighbors refused the vaccine; they and all four of their children suffered the virus; two of the children have long Covid.
Rest assured, though there won't be a vaccine for the next pandemic. We won't have to make a choice.

@admeliora the vaccine was pushed through (I seem to recall they called it "operation warp speed") and not fully tested for sure. I have to believe the intentions were good, with millions of people dying and becoming gravely ill so quickly, there was no way to out the vaccines through a standard test schedule. I also agree that the virus itself changed many peoples' immune systems (for sure it did mine) and the vaccines may in some cases have added insult to injury (also in my case). I had a "mild" case of covid.. after having had 2 vaccines. I was in bed for about a week, had the worst headache and sore throat of my life, but no breathing problems. Miserable, but nothing life threatening. Once I recovered, I had a headache every afternoon around the same time, for almost 3 months, I also could not shake the fatigue. Then after my last booster, GI symptoms started to kick in, along with more fatigue, red eyes, skin issues, shortness of breath, pelvic and back pain.. it was a perfect storm of misery. When I got the shots and got covid, I was in excellent health, not yet 65 but close. Anyway I believe in my case, it was a combo of both., getting the virus, and then getting that final booster. I have not (and will not) take a vaccine for anything since.
