I was diagnosed with Peyronie’s disease and sought treatment at the Mayo Clinic. I was prescribed the RestoreX traction device. I have been using RestoreX since December 2025 with some success. Before treatment I had a 45 decree curve to the left and a pea sized formation of plaque that I could feel near the mid right side of my penis that caused the bend to the left. I could feel the plaque when my penis was flaccid. When erect there was an indention opposite where the plaque was located. Although the condition was not too painful, I did feel a tugging sensation near the bend that was not pleasant. I was mostly disturbed by the appearance of the curve.

After seven to eight months of using the RestoreX traction device the plaque is no longer detectable and the indention is much less noticeable. The angle of curvature has decreased from 45 degrees to about 25 degrees. I no longer feel the tugging sensation near the curve. Although not straight, my penis is much better than before traction. I hope that continued use results in more straightening, but if it does not, I feel much less deformed and I am happy with the results.

Using RestoreX took some getting used to. The videos on their website were very helpful. As advised in the manual that came with the device, I start off with 15 minutes of straight traction and then 15 minutes of counter bending (opposite direction of the curve). I do two 30-minute treatment sessions per day, usually one in the morning and one in the evening. I think I is important to develop a daily routine so the you consistently use the device. I also take a daily dose of Tadalafil. Although I have not experienced ED my physician said the Tadalafil would increase blood flow and help counter Peyronie’s.

@kocour You actually went to the Mayo Clinic? I live too far for that unfortunately. You were prescribed Restorex, did your insurance cover the cost? Glad you had a positive result! Gives me hope!

@kocour Thanks for sharing your Restorex experience. It takes months of regular use for results. Stick with it as will I.
