These findings were developed based on Alzheimer’s Disease.
Dr. Yankner from Harvard has said that they would very much like to investigate whether there is also applicability to other problems such as Parkinson’s, ALS, and vascular dementia.
The approach that they propose is simple — replacement of missing Li, re-enabling its very basic functions in the brain.
Where else will this lead?
