New to lymphedema -- just diagnosed after ultrasound scans of both legs and stomach area. Waiting for custom compression socks ("untall" with very
short legs -- standard compressions stockings are far too long). My vascular surgeon told me to purchase rubber gloves similar to what they use
to assisting in donning/duffing the stockings. Where can these rubber gloves be purchased?

Standard latex gloves bought at local drugstore. I use them and they work great.

Hi @catladyde9 --- I was diagnosed with lymphedema a little over a year ago. When I bought my first pair of compression sock the lady at the Mayo Store at the Rochester Mayo Clinic put them on for me and then took them off and walked me through how to do it using the grab the heel from inside the stocking and pull the sock halfway inside out. Then put your foot in it and pull the heel portion over your heel while pulling the sock up. I think this site has some good info, including how to use the donning gloves that are supposed to be easier although I've never used them. I've recently found some zippered compression socks that are way easier to get on your feet and then hold the sides together while pulling the zipper up.
