@health2026 Thank you very much. "d 2 x Level 3" in context to incontinenceis a new term for me. I did not know.I just bought themxixpad andadult daipers from walmarty ( first time in my life).I guess you are refribf to better qaulity of guard or pad like "Tena for Men Level 3 Guard for Men,: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C7L7JM1D (0.50 cents per count) vs Tena for Men Level 1 Guard for Men ( 0.14Cents count). I did not know theexistence of "guard for men" and different level. SO I learned something new.
Tiday is 15th day after the surgery. Feel my incontence and pain has reduced. Number of change in Pads and dapersis lower. Need to eatch more to avoid misguding conlusions.

@apex1111 I have NEVER worn "Depend" before until now! I first learnt of the word on social media when people make "insults and nasty remarks" at people by scoffing at people who wear Depends! AT the hospital after Holep, I was given a Depend pad and a hospital underwear. I had to figure out how to put it together. Now I am an "expert". There are two major brands - Depend and TINA. They make these pads for males and females. I have been buying mine when they are on discount.

Depend and TINA (and all other brands) make them in 2 product forms -

(1) Guards (pads) that you attached to your normal under wear (excludes boxer shorts)
(2) Full underwear/briefs - comes with disposable underwear with built in pads - these cost much more and have level 5 absorption. Too uch for me. Level 3 is more than enough.

On day 8 in my case, during the morning I suddenly had a "BLOCK". It lasted an hour, then it was back to normal - Niagara Falls semi gush. Through googling, I found out why, at day 8 mark, there is this temporary block. The internal surface of the prostate where the overgrown prostate tissue had been "sheared off", it is at maximum inflamation. From there on, the swelling subsides and hence the hollowed space inside prostate capsule is regained (exactly what Holep is supposed to do). Other than that, there has been absolutely NO physical discomfort. Why are you still feeling pain? Do you have to take panadol or aspirin? I took two panadol straight after I woke up from anasthetic on day of Holep. I only took it because I was given; I didn't need it. I refused further offers of panadols! When I woke up after the Holep, I thought they hadn't done anything because I couldn't feel any discomfort!

I think later this week, I am taking a chance and go without any Depend! It might be becoming a security blanket! I will do it when I am out running. That will be a real test!
