@lesx - Hi...I live in NYC and discovered a small clinic in Clifton, N.J. run by a father and son. The name of clinic is calmaretherapynj.com . What surprised me is the fact this treatment is FDA approved and has been around for around at least 15 years. Most doctors do not know about this treatment!!! Okay, it is 10 sessions...two weeks....(week-ends off). I took a car service there and another to take me home. Each treatment is about 30-35 minutes....Pads are placed on the area of pain...mine were on sides of face, forehead and sometimes neck. The sensation is like a very light buzzy feeling...totally painless. I sometimes dozed during a session. It is "out of pocket" and I don't think covered by insurance. The price runs around $3,800 or so....It's been very effective for me. I had some other issues that triggered my TNP a month or two later and I went back for two "booster" treatments. Dr. Jay Coney is whom I worked with and he is absolutely lovely. His patients come from all over the world and I guess stay at a local motel, hotel.....I also think treatment available at The Mayo Clinic as well.
