Gabapentin for treating neurogenic bladder

I do take gabapentin, for neuropathy of legs, and I also have neurogenic bladder, but anm not on any specific med for it. After reading several reliable sources that believe gabapentin causes brain neuron damage, I am currently weaning off of it. I have become symptomatic and am having a lot of trouble remembering nouns.
So……I am praying that if I stop it, things will improve, or stabilize.

@ray11 I’ve been on Gabapentin for five months following a complete cervical fusion. Previous to surgery I’ve had incontinence that hasn’t resolved. I believe this is due to nerve damage in my lumbar. I’m at a loss.
