It can take up to three years for all of the prostate cancer cells to die off after having radiation. You’ll probably know in six months, but you never know. You’re just wait until the PSA shows the lowest number over time.
While the radiation can take care of it, many people have reoccurrences. You never know how long that’s going to take, Sometimes it can reoccur in a year sometimes 10 or 15 or 20 years before it comes back. For some people, it never comes back.
To find out what your chance of reoccurrence is, you can get a decipher test or maybe even an ArteraAI test. They both tell you the chance of reoccurrence.
