4.9 % over next 10 years under Frax, but under mayo it says 96 people won’t and 4 will. Similar result. I think i will monitor to my next DEXA and then have three data points over that period. In the meantime I think i will try some hip/neck strengthening, increase my vitamin d and add calcium. I am not overly worried . Having had prostate cancer and knowing the statistics about recurrence’s after surgery these osteoporosis stats look pretty good. I appreciate your help.

@wheel1, We all have to do what makes us most comfortable. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2023 and still haven't started medication. So far, so good, although I realize I may be on borrowed time. Instead, I've been doing Onero (based on the LIFTMOR trials) for the past year, increased my protein intake, and added a few supplements, including K2 (MK-7) and magnesium glycinate. My bone density has improved, and I'm continuing to monitor it closely rather than letting two years go by between follow-up testing. Wishing you all the best.
