I am already on a Protein Pump Inhibior (Protonix) for reflux and Pepcid AC at night. Mobic/Meloxicam hikes up my blood pressure. It helps with my pain, but causes reflux and
facial flushing.
If you can get into a Pain Clinic or even a Neurologist, they can write you a non narcotic
pain cream. I use one and it helps me greatly with Fibromyalgia & Arthritis since I can't
take NSAIDS.
Mine has Lidocaine, Gabapentin, Flexeril & Dicoflenac (Voltaren) in it at a low dose. It
has to be compounded in a compounding pharmacy. It helps take the edge of the pain
and make it more tolerable.
