Not ever heard of the purpose of the endocrinologist until now. This is not something to rely on my oncologist or gp for?

@wheel1 oncologists specialize in cancer, not bone health. gp's are general purpose doctors, not specialists in any area. if someone has osteoporosis, they need to see a bone specialist: an endocrinologist, or a rheumatologist.
