MRI confirmed spinal stenosis l(4)(5)
Had previously tried epidural injection only helped briefly.
I got Acupuncture thru the VA .Medicare did not cover it.Dry needling help some what.
PT have to know that Spinal Stenosis is present and not to do bridge exercises . I would not do surgery unless I am one step away from a wheelchair . I did try another epidural last week ,only time will tell and of course it’s always Tramadol or Lyrica🤔if pain get to bad
Yes I have been going to an Acupuncturist for about 5 years and have also had spinal injections....The acupuncture has been great and really helped but only if you go to someone who is qualified and certified in acupuncture. I laughed when my doctor told me it would help but it really has!!
