I’m late to this conversation but would love any new updates on proton therapy radiation for ILC post lumpectomy. I had my surgery at UCLA and am scheduled for radiation in a few weeks and very nervous about it since they are suggesting whole breast radiation.

@valleymom please, please consider the use of Mepitel Film instead of the suggested topical daily ointments. There is a Facebook group which will give you all the deets! I used it during my proton treatments for pbi and had no burning whatsoever. It is a fantastic product but don’t confuse it with the Mepitel product available on Amazon, it is different.
