Lanreotide side effects: diarrhea constipation, what to do?

Hi, I’ve recently started lanreotide injections and of course dealing with constipation. I’ve been taking ultra-some an enzyme before eating. Helps some but not with constipation. Any advice?

@jringram: I will make following suggestions:
1. Get soft “stool softeners” at drug store. Take then every night before bed. 300-500mgs.
2. Buy Metamucil orange flavor (I use sugar free) and every evening before bed mix 1-2 Tablespoons in 1 small glass water (6oz). Drink down & follow with another glass water.
This should soften poop enough to “go” easily. You may have urge to “go” more than once a day (this varies, but I experience multiple times a day). Hope this helps!
