I just wanted to share some happy news. After reviewing my situation, my oncologist felt that I could safely stop the treatment and move to close observation instead. It has been over six years, and while there is no definitive guidance on how long the treatment should continue, he felt that since I have been cancer-free since 2022 and have been dealing with worsening neuropathy from the medication, it was the right time to stop.

So, in April 2026—exactly 6 years and 45 days after I began treatment—I took my last dose.

The feeling is difficult to describe. I feel relieved, lighter, more relaxed, and genuinely happy. After so many years of medication, appointments, and uncertainty, this milestone feels both empowering and deeply reassuring. I am incredibly grateful to have reached this point.
