I would strongly suggest asking your urological surgeon why he isn't doing the second surgery. Although it seems that two are the norm, he might have had a specific reason.

Beth, I think we did ask him...it's like a giant swirl right now. I'll check with my husband on that. The doc has been very responsive, even though I know he's terribly busy.
